Our vision

We live in an impossibly busy culture, overloaded by information and pace. Desiring to counter that and walk in the Way of Jesus, we at Wesley Gardens lead retreats and offer spaces for individuals and groups to  connect with Christ & Creation. Our “monastery-like” setting is framed by quiet spaces for prayer and intentionality.

Our Team

  • Retreat Director

Micah & Abbie Sprünger are the ministry directors and caretakers of the property. They live a stone’s throw from the Main House with their four children. Micah was raised in a missionary family in Japan, studied history and art at Covenant College and most recently enjoyed participating in the Soul Care Institute two year program. Abbie studied religion at Emory University, and spiritual formation and soul care at Talbot Seminary. She’s a full-time mom and accomplished author. Micah & Abbie worship at Christ Church Anglican.

  • Reservations

Spiritual growth and the inward journey are the things that give me life. Living abroad in Spain while pursuing a Masters of Arts in Spiritual Formation was an awakening season in my life. I’m learning to implement ancient wisdom passed down through thousands of years of the Christian tradition and live this life on purpose, with intention, availability, and continual transformation into love. I have an incredible wife and beautiful little girl.

  • Gardening & Maintenance

Ernie is married to Lisa and together they share three daughters. Savannah, their eldest daughter, went to be with the Lord in January 2023. Ernie is a Savannah native, studied religion at Liberty University, and briefly attended seminary at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He’s an avid fan of UGA football, loves coffee, a good conversation, and fishing. In addition to groundskeeping Ernie is a bi-vocational church planter.

“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”
